About Jessica
Jessica lives in the Fort Worth area with her husband, four children aged 5 to 21, and furry dog child, Gracie. Following graduation with her Bachelor’s degree from UNT, she stayed home to raise her first two children until entering the workforce in 2005. Over the years, she worked her way up the ladder in student housing apartments, as a regional manager, traveling all over the country to manage her sites and 75+ employees. This work allowed her passion to connect with people and help them, evolve, as she wore many hats- boss, employee, cheerleader, support system, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, etc. It also allowed her to become proficient with interpersonal communication, discernment, active listening, verbal and nonverbal communication, and self-reflection. In 2020, Jessica began a new chapter in her life, following her childhood dream of becoming a counselor to help others who struggle with mental health issues, which is near and dear to her heart. She has plans to graduate in December 2023. In her free time, she enjoys a wide array of interests, including traveling, reading, puzzles, photography, volunteering, and cheering on her children in their various sports activities.
