Cynthia grew up in British Columbia, Canada, and was initially pursuing a career in Chemistry research. However, during her time in university, she became involved in campus ministry and eventually shifted her career direction toward the helping field. She discovered that she loves working with people, hearing their stories, and journeying with them through life’s ups and downs. She is currently completing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Cynthia will seek to understand your context and work through a cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused brief therapy lens to enable you to reach your goals. She desires to help you become aware of your unique strengths and resources for resiliency in order to promote holistic well-being. She also has years of campus ministry experience in addressing issues regarding faith, spirituality, and life direction.
